Former Iowa hospital administrator, Matthew Keirans, has pleaded guilty to an identity theft scheme that spanned three decades and resulted in the false imprisonment of his victim for nearly two years. Keirans used the victim’s identity in every aspect of his life, obtaining documents and a birth certificate in the victim’s name. The victim, unable to prove his identity, was arrested on felony charges.
