Thermo Fisher Scientific, a medical technology and diagnostics firm, has launched Accelerator™ Drug Development, a suite of end-to-end manufacturing, clinical research and supply chain services under its own brand. The product can be customized to support the development of treatments and is designed to support customers from preclinical studies to commercialization. Thermo Fisher claims this will save significant expense and time for drug developers while enhancing effective clinical results and likelihood of regulatory approvals. However, the company is yet to quantify the projected savings.
