Two studies by BlueRock Therapeutics and Kyoto University are developing lower side-effect treatments, replacing lost dopamine-creating brain cells with stem cells. While the results are preliminary, they give hope that stem cell therapy could potentially advance therapeutic interventions for Parkinson’s patients.
