The Plight of the K-Beauty Devotee

President Trump’s imposition of a 25% tariff on South Korean imports, a potential fallout from the ongoing trade war, could make K-beauty (Korean skincare) products less affordable in the US. Another concern is that the allure of K-beauty products being ‘not made in America’ could be lost if manufacturers choose to open factories in the US to avoid tariffs.
