Despite increased investment in cyber security, NHS organisations still allocate only 1-2% of their running costs to IT services. Addressing the issue requires a cultural shift, investing in advanced new security technologies tailored to the NHS, training staff, evaluating procurement processes, and developing incident response strategies.
