Microsoft is reintroducing its AI tool, Recall, in Windows 11. Originally castigated by security practitioners due to concerns of abuse and breach of privacy, the updated version is available to insiders with access to a preview version of Windows 11. The tool will save snapshots of user activity every three seconds, but now requires opt-in consent and can be paused by the user at any time.
