Texas CISO points to HITRUST and NSA guidance to boost cybersecurity

Healthcare organizations should focus on basic security measures to protect against cyber criminals, according to Sanjeev Sah, director of IS risk and controls at Texas Children’s Hospital. Sah suggests using the Health Information Trust Alliance’s Common Security Framework and the CIS Critical Security Controls to guide security programs and prioritize approaches.
