The attack led to blood supply shortages and the cancellation of thousands of operations. Synnovis has completed substantial restoration work, leading to the reconnection of its laboratories and reinstating hematology services in some hospitals. A full restoration of blood transfusion services is expected by Autumn. The investigation into data stolen by ransomware group, Qilin, is ongoing.
