‘Substantial proportion’ of US had data stolen during Change Healthcare ransomware attack

A “substantial proportion of people in America” have potentially had their personal data breached during a ransomware attack on Change Healthcare in February, according to parent company UnitedHealth Group. The firm is offering free credit monitoring and identity theft protection services for two years to those affected, although it did not confirm how many people this could involve.
