Methodist McKinney Hospital, Methodist Allen Surgical Center, and Methodist Craig Ranch Surgical Center in Texas were targeted in a ransomware attack on July 5. The hospitals did not pay the ransom, but the Karakurt data extortion group stole 360 GB of data. The stolen information includes sensitive data such as names, addresses, Social Security numbers, medical history, and health insurance details. The hospital is conducting an investigation and notifying affected individuals.
