Tewkesbury Borough Council was the victim of a cyber attack, but the local authority has now confirmed there is no evidence data was lost. Suspicious activity was first noticed on the council’s systems last week and the online devices were shut down as a precaution. Forensic work has been continuing and the council is working with various partners, including the National Cyber Security Centre, to understand the attack.
