St Vincent’s Health is moving to a cloud-hosted EMR system for its Australian private hospitals, provided by US firm MEDITECH. The web-based platform allows staff to access real-time patient data, which can be personalised and fully mobile. Both firms are now in the planning and design phase and expect the project to be implemented between the end of 2021 and early 2025.
