St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is collaborating with scientists at Duke, Stanford and Columbia Universities to invest $13m into researching G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), proteins linked to over 100 diseases. The team will employ a variety of methods, including single-molecule imaging and data science, to formulate GPCR-targeting drug strategies for the treatment of numerous paediatric illnesses.
