Several Android and iOS apps were found to be infected with a cryptocurrency stealer malware. Security researchers at Kaspersky discovered at least 18 Android and 10 iOS apps carrying a malicious software developer kit (SDK) designed to use OCR technology to steal cryptocurrency wallet recovery phrases from screenshots. The infected apps have been removed from the App Store and Google Play Store, but users who have downloaded them will need to manually uninstall these applications.
