With around 9,000 facilities having participated in the development of such a system since 2016, the aim is to reduce the need for physical imaging like MRIs and CT scans on CDs, while enhancing patient care and preventing duplicate testing. T-Mobile has agreed to pay a $15.75 million fine and improve its security in a settlement over a series of data breaches over three years
