Sony is investigating a potential data leak on the dark web by two alleged online actors: Ransomed and MajorNelson. Based on a 2GB data sample, Ransomed claims to have “successfully compromised” all Sony systems. Meanwhile, MajorNelson disputes the validity of Ransomed’s claims. If true, this will not be the first time Sony’s systems have been breached by hackers.
