SonicWall Firewall Vulnerability Enables Unauthorized Access

Researchers from Bishop Fox have exploited an authentication bypass vulnerability (CVE-2024-53704) in SonicWall firewalls. The flaw allows attackers to hijack active SSL VPN sessions without requiring user credentials. SonicWall had issued patches in January 2025, however, many devices are still exposed due to delayed updates. It underscores the need for timely patching to prevent unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
