Discovery UpGuard has secured an exposed database of AngelSense, a GPS tracker for individuals with special needs. The database included logs containing shipping addresses, contact info, partial payment card numbers, passwords, GPS coordinates, and artificial intelligence data. Identified on January 17, 2025, the database was made inaccessible by January 27. Exposing this data can pose risks, particularly the location data of monitored individuals and the insights AI processing may reveal about them.
