Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust has reduced patient waiting times for transport from accident and emergency to an average of five minutes with the introduction of RLDatix’s Allocate Transport Marketplace solution in 2018. The system, which allows transport providers to bid for the work, has eradicated 12-hour trolley breaches. RLDatix’s research suggests the NHS could save £70m ($93m) annually if the solution was nationally adopted.
