The US Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee has proposed a legislation aiming to reinforce cybersecurity in the healthcare sector following an increase in cyberattacks. The Health Care Cybersecurity and Resiliency Act of 2024 will mandate better coordination between Department of Health and Human Services and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, and require the development of a cybersecurity incident response plan.
