Security Bite: Infostealer malware spikes 28% among Mac users, says Jamf

Jamf’s Security 360: Annual Trends Report has found a 28% surge in infostealer malware, now the leading Mac malware family. It discovered that 32% of organizations operate at least one device with critical vulnerabilities, around 10 million phishing attacks occurred in the past year, and one in 10 users clicked on a malicious phishing link. Infostealers are becoming more popular, surpassing adware. To guard against infostealers, Mac users are advised to exercise caution when installing software and to keep their apps and devices updated.
