Scots NHS patients’ medical files on dark web after hackers leak stolen data

Hacker group INC Ransom breached UK National Health Service’s (NHS) systems, stealing sensitive data of thousands of patients, and demanded cash to keep the information private. The stolen data includes names, addresses, email IDs, test results, medical histories and additional sensitive information, posing a risk of identity fraud and potential blackmails. INC Ransom stole 3TB of data last month from NHS Dumfries and Galloway, but the full extent of records stolen is unknown.
