The Saudi Railway Company (SAR) has partnered with cybersecurity company, sirar by stc, to improve cybersecurity protections for its critical transit network. SAR oversees 4,500 km of rail networks throughout Saudi Arabia. This partnership comes in response to various cyber attacks on rail networks internationally, as operational technology and IT components create the potential for increased attack surfaces. Sirar by stc aims to provide advanced solutions for protecting SAR’s railway network.
