Sanders says pharma CEOs facing possible subpoenas will testify about drug prices

The CEOs of Johnson & Johnson, Merck, and Bristol Myers Squibb have agreed to voluntarily testify at a Senate hearing in February regarding high prescription drug prices in the US, negating the need for a planned subpoena. This decision came following Senator Bernie Sanders’s criticism of the executives for their initial refusal due to claimed lack of expertise.
