Recently discovered Android malware that tracks location and steals contacts is being used to target Russian military personnel. The malware has been hidden inside a free pirated version of a topographical mapping application, Alpine Quest Pro, which is popular among Russian personnel in Ukraine. The app is also being promoted on a dedicated Telegram channel and unofficial Android app repositories.
Yale New Haven Health data breach affected over 5.5M people
Over 5.5 million people were affected by a data breach involving an “unauthorized third party” on Yale New Haven Health’s network (YNHHS) on March 8.
