Rouen hospital confirms 90% of IT services have been resumed after cyberattack rendered computers unusable

The University Hospital Centre (CHU) de Rouen in France has confirmed that 90% of its normal IT services are now functioning again following a ransomware attack last week. The attack, which occurred on 15 November, caused disruptions to medical staff and required tasks to be done manually. French national cybersecurity agency ANSSI was called in to help resolve the issue. The hospital stated that there have been no leaks of personal or medical information identified so far.
