Revenue from Optum’s data arm jumps 35% after Change Healthcare purchase

Optum’s data and analytics arm, Optum Insight, reported a 35% YoY revenue increase to around $5 billion in Q3 following the company’s $13 billion purchase of Change Healthcare. UnitedHealth Group, Optum’s parent company, attributed the growth to increased data capabilities and technology services sales to healthcare organizations. The company plans to invest at least $100 million to integrate Optum Insight with Change Healthcare.
