Indian ride-hailing platform, Rapido, has addressed a security vulnerability in its feedback form that leaked users’ and drivers’ personal data. Discovered by security researcher Renganathan P, the flaw revealed names, email addresses and phone numbers. Over 1,800 responses were exposed, raising fears of scams, phishing attacks or identifying theft. The company has now secured the portal and promises to work with cybersecurity specialists to strengthen its systems and prevent future breaches.
