A cyberattack group called BlackCat is threatening to expose sensitive data from medical device manufacturer Henry Schein unless a ransom is paid. The hackers claim to have encrypted the company’s systems and stolen 35TB of sensitive data, including internal payroll and shareholder information. The group alleges the attack has already cost Henry Schein $150 million. Henry Schein recently disclosed a cybersecurity incident but has not revealed the extent of its impact.
