Ransomware Attacks Strike South Africa, Decline in UAE

Cyberattacks, particularly ransomware, are increasing across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), with geopolitical tensions fuelling the rise. South Africa witnessed a surge in attacks with 78% of companies hit by ransomware in 2023, up from 51% in 2022.
