A ransomware attack has caused a system-wide technology shut down at over a dozen medical centers in Ohio, operated by Kettering Health. This resulted in the cancellation of elective inpatient and outpatient procedures. The ransomware, rumored to be from a hacker group called Interlock, demands a fee to unlock the locked computer network. Emergency rooms and clinics remain operational.
