The gap can be filled through advanced imaging technology using the cloud, AI and machine learning, which can optimize workflow and reduce administrative burden. Modern solutions like teleradiology can offer cost savings. However, the upfront costs of these technologies pose a challenge, and failure to invest could lead to deteriorating patient outcomes and reduced hospital revenues.
