Quishing Campaign Exploits Microsoft Open Redirect Vulnerability

An advanced phishing technique exploiting Microsoft’s Open Redirect vulnerability, also known as quishing, has risen by 427% within a month. Cybersecurity group Perception Point highlighted a recent campaign that used compromised QR codes to redirect users to fraudulent Microsoft login pages. The campaign started with an email asking users to update their account credentials, then redirected them to a spoofed Microsoft 365 page, allowing cybercriminals to steal their login information. Microsoft has since mitigated the issue.
