Putin-backed gangs could launch ‘devastating’ attack on UK, warns expert | Politics | News

Meanwhile, UK Parliament’s Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy reports the UK is unprepared to handle a massive ransomware attack that could cause severe disruption and political instability. It suggests moving responsibility for tackling such threats to the Cabinet Office.
