Cybersecurity and compliance company, Proofpoint Inc., plans to acquire Tessian, an AI-powered email security platform. Tessian’s platform strengthens Proofpoint’s email data loss prevention services, addressing accidental data loss and malicious insiders. Tessian’s advanced, AI-powered capabilities include context-aware email defence and protection against data exfiltration and misdirected emails. The acquisition is set to be completed by early 2024.
