Cybersecurity firm Proofpoint will acquire Tessian, a company specialising in using AI to detect and guard against data loss and email threats. The deal is set to complete in late 2023 or early 2024. Proofpoint aims to improve its threat and information protection platforms by incorporating Tessian’s AI-based defenses which address accidental data loss from misdirected emails.
