Privacy advocates blast 21st Century Cures bill

The 21st Century Cures initiative, launched in the U.S, has raised concerns about patient privacy. The initiative involves the collection of patient data that could potentially lead to cures for over 6,000 diseases that are currently incurable. However, privacy advocators argue that the initiative will allow for the expansion of corporate access to patient information. The initiative is backed by multiples sources, including the American Medical Association, however, CHIME and HIMSS have raised concerns about patient data privacy.
