Printer maker Procolored offered malware-laced drivers for months

Procolored, a fast-growing digital printing company, inadvertently supplied malware-infected software with its printers for six months. After Cameron Coward, a YouTuber, alerted them to the issue, an investigation by cybersecurity company G Data found XRedRAT and SnipVex malware on software for six Procolored printer models. The infected software, previously available on Procolored’s website, was taken down for inspection, and customers are urged to replace it with the new, clean versions and perform a system scan.
