Todd Park will take over as the new U.S. Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and assistant to the President, filling a vacancy left by Aneesh Chopra. Park, who has served as CTO of the Department of Health and Human Services since 2009, is known for his work in harnessing data, technology, and innovation to improve healthcare in America. President Obama has asked Park to bring this approach to a broader mission of replicating best practices across the government.
