Preparing for the evolving malware threat landscape

Malware attacks on healthcare organisations are rising, with ransomware, remediation expenses and brand damage amongst the main concerns. Despite recognising the need for increasing cybersecurity, many organisations spend little on it, with larger hospitals perceiving the risk to be lower than it is. Rick Bryant of Veritas Technologies suggests improving security with external vendors, good perimeter security, better staff education and real-time threat detection.
