Multiple healthcare and life sciences organizations, including AmerisourceBergen, Pfizer, Premier, and McKesson, have joined the MediLedger Project Contracting and Chargebacks working group. The initiative is part of a project by San Francisco-based startup Chronicled to create blockchain-powered supply chain networks for healthcare organizations. The goal is to streamline information sharing, automate contract reconciliation and chargeback processes, and improve efficiency in healthcare contracting. The MediLedger network will launch later this year, with data stored securely on a blockchain.
