PowerDNS Vulnerability Let Attacker Trigger DoS Attack Via Malicious TCP connection

PowerDNS has released an important security update, version 1.9.10, to fix a critical vulnerability (CVE-2025-30193) in its DNSdist load balancer, which could allow unauthorized users to carry out denial of service attacks. The vulnerability involves the mishandling of TCP connection states. A temporary workaround can limit the number of queries per connection, but the advised solution is upgrading to mitigate the risk.
