Cybersecurity should start with personal responsibility and vigilance in digital interactions, according to Healthcare CBO Davy Wittcock. Following the ransomware attack on Change Healthcare, U.S. senators are calling for greater transparency from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Wittcock proposed that guidelines, not regulations, should take precedence, and emphasised that banning methods such as cryptocurrencies won’t halt ransomware attacks. All stakeholders must be involved in cybersecurity solutions.
