The breach, resulting from a ransomware attack on software services provider Blackbaud’s systems, potentially exposed the personal information of 348,000 people. While no credit card or bank account information was compromised, patient names, contact information, and other details were breached. NorthShore has notified affected individuals and stated that there is a low risk of harm.
