A cyber attack on Norton Healthcare has potentially impacted millions, including children who have received notification of the breach. An estimated 2.5 million people are to be notified by postal service. The breach is thought to involve names, contact details, social security numbers and health data. Norton Healthcare is strengthening its safeguards and both external cybersecurity experts and federal law enforcement are now involved. Cybersecurity expert Adrian Lauf advises parents to reduce the online digital footprint of their children and regularly monitor credit activity.
