Pennsylvania’s Warren General Hospital experienced a data breach affecting around 169,000 patients, which was detected on September 24. The breach allowed an unknown person to access patient information including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, health insurance claims, medical information, and financial data. The hospital is reviewing its internal records, has notified law enforcement agencies, and advised patients to monitor any unusual activity in their accounts.
