Ciitizen, a startup that helps patients access their medical records, has released a scorecard assessing providers’ compliance with HIPAA regulations. The scorecard shows that over half of providers are non-compliant with HIPAA’s right of access provisions, but the number of health systems providing access or exceeding requirements is increasing.
