Hacker group INC Ransom has claimed it holds three terabytes of confidential data from NHS Scotland. The group posted a sample of genuine data on its dark web blog. The NHS said the attack was contained to a single health board. Jeff Ace, the board’s chief executive, condemned the hackers and said police and cyber security agencies were investigating the incident, and patients whose data had been published would be informed.
