Cyberattacks on healthcare organizations, particularly supply chain and business email compromise (BEC) attacks, are impacting patient care, finds a survey by Proofpoint and the Ponemon Institute. The report reveals that 88% of the surveyed organizations experienced around 40 attacks in the past year, with an average cost of $4.99 million.
