Patched BitLocker Flaw Still Susceptible to Hack

Windows BitLocker’s patched encryption flaw is still vulnerable to attacks allowing hackers to decrypt data via network exploitation, security researcher Thomas Lambertz has found. He demonstrated a successful attack using a tactic called “bitpixie” at the Chaos Communication Congress in Germany. The only prevention method suggested is disabling the full network stack in the BIOS.
